Spiritually, poppies symbolize sleep and regeneration. They serve as a reminder to us that while our physical life may be frail and temporal, we can find rest in our eternal life instead. 
 
This Reflection is for the one who may be going through trials and battles right now, to remind them that this physical pain will not last and that as long as they have faith, we will one day find promised rest.
